I love the contrast between the flowing lines of the child and the slick, sharper ones of the planes. I love the red sky in the background that's lit by a sun that seems to shine only on the human. I like the contrast between the mossy-looking grayish-green on one side and the dead, dry clay-red on the other, and how the kid is stuck between the two.
