I <3 this piece. Seriously.
I love the contrast between the flowing lines of the child and the slick, sharper ones of the planes. I love the red sky in the background that's lit by a sun that seems to shine only on the human. I like the contrast between the mossy-looking grayish-green on one side and the dead, dry clay-red on the other, and how the kid is stuck between the two.
There are so many different ways of looking at this piece...its just amazing. One way of looking at it is...the planes coming from a baren wasteland in which they made and coming to destroy that soft, grassy plane next to it. The boy...trapped in between, watching the world of chaos and war go on around him. Or the difference between the living side of life and the hard, lifeless feelings of the machines... Sorry. My thoughts probably has nothing to do with it. Beautiful picture. I think its okay now for me to say that this is one of your best.
Wow, thanks so much Lioko for those kind words again ! I prefer this one, certainly. I'm agrre with your explanations. I do not want to make the amalgam and to say that this people is goods and the other not. Hope you a great day, respect and awarenes !
Hello Doc, thanks for this beautiful idea, I never think about that but if a chance to use it for these kind of actions is possible, this will be the more interresting purpose it could be. I'm going to dream !
Thanks a lot Effervescentfx, this one is more deep, more powerful exactly. I would like to tend in a contrast between machine and human, adult and children, violence and innocence. Maybe, that recalls me a little bit the movie "Steamboy", and more generally the work of the master Otomo. Yes that's right !
