I have read in a book that if we don't change anything about our kind of life now, one million of species will disapeared in the second part of this century (cause of the world warming). We can begin to see some regression about the polar bears and other animals all around the world. I don't know if those results are true or wrong. If you want to have your own opinion, go to read some of those books and tell me. I hope I'm wrong.
After us only flood. A beautiful exemple of egoism !!
Wow, Ossy! Another gorgeous peice...this one is rather sad to me. The little boy looking miserably at the polar bear. And then behind them where the wonderful glacier paradise is supposed to be, all you see is dirt and rocks and then a huge ship beached as a manufacturing company... I don't know what to believe or not. bUt I hope the world never comes to look like this breath-taking picture. ;( Excellent job, once again. Your art continues to amaze me with how absolutely gorgeous and detailed it is.

Thanks very much Lyoko, I'm glad to count you in my deviant friends ! I don't really wanted to get so sad with this pic but I think the information of this tragedy was stronger than my feelings. Your vision is always so deep and brilliant. You make me discover my own pics like that, and some details are effectively unconscious but you have the talent to make them real !! Bravo, and hope to write you soon.
If we keep going at the rate we are today this may just happen. Though what I have been informed about from many sources, internet, news, books, other people. It's that this warming cycle may not be our fault it's just the earth warming up like it normally does. Which does make sense if you think about it. Of the past years we have decreased our pollution emissions and the Ozone is starting to repair itself. So I probably just contradicted myself didn't I.

Thanks for your comment K1092000. I don't know where you take your informations, if you could send the sites please (I don't read a lot of english, it could be hard to me to have a critic). Maybe I'm alarmist, I read that the glaciologists didn't observe in the history of the Earth (650.000 years before, they can't dig more) so many rate of CO2 in the atmosphere since one century (380 parts for one million, whereas in 1850 it was 270 parts)... As you said, Earth survived to many glacial's eras in the past, but the intermediary between two eras (hot to cold) was of 10.000 years. Today we have the same warming, and it only count 200 years. So now I'm more and more sure that the activity of humanity is the consequence of this situation. In the history of the Earth, the difference between a cold area and a hot one was 190 to 300 ppm. In 2040, those scientists say that the atmospher will pass to 420 ppm !!! I'm sure that Earth will be hot or cold again, but when you have an accident on the road whereas you drive at 50 km/h, the result is not the same than when you drive your car at 200 km/h if you see what I want to say (about human's adaptation)... This is just an exemple, if you have your arguments, it will be a pleasure to read those one. Always, I hope this is not the true but the consequences will be the same.
Thank you so much! No, it's not me seeing the pictures, it's seeing the wonders you create! I could never make such flawless detail and beauty AND give out a wonderful, yet terrifying message to the world at the same time. That is all through your talent.

These sites here have that information, though most of it runs along with todays view on global warming there are a few in there that show some of the stuff I'm talking about.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
